June can be a very taxing time for shelter animals, whose future depends entirely on donations.
So the adorable residents of the Animal Welfare League of Queensland (AWLQ) have issued an urgent plea for humans to help fund their care in the new financial year.
In a special News Repawt, animals Jupiter and Puma Thurman reveal why they are chasing donations this month to AWLQ ambassadors Amanda Abate and Jake Edwards.

AWLQ is urging Gold Coasters to dig deep this June, with all tax deductible donations to be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $20,000.
