International star Robbie Williams has been locked in to rock the AFL Grand Final as the pre-game entertainment.
The final is being played at the MCG for the first time since 2019, returning with an incredible headline act.
Robbie Williams will hand-pick his own band for the performance, which is set to feature local musicians.
He’s told the AFL he can’t wait to take to the stage.
“I am so excited to be performing for all the fans, on the hallowed turf of the MCG, for the biggest game of the year,” Williams said.
“I’m really looking forward to performing with a cast of very talented local Australian musicians and I can’t wait to see you all on that last Saturday in September.”
The global superstar will hit the stage in front of massive 100,000-plus fans.
The 2022 AFL Grand Final takes place on Saturday 24 September.
