Australian cricketer Rod Marsh has died after suffering a major heart attack in Queensland last week.
The 74-year-old had been in Bundaberg for a cricket event when he suffered the heart attack last Thursday.
He was rushed to a Queensland hospital, before being transferred to a hospital in Adelaide earlier this week where he remained in an induced coma.
Sadly, Cricket Australia confirmed a short time ago that the legendary wicketkeeper had passed away.
Tributes have already begun flooding in for the cricketing icon, who played 96 Tests for Australia between 1970 and 1984.
He also previously served as Australia’s chairman of selectors between May 2014 and November 2016.
