Police are investigating a horror crash in Sunnybank Hills, that has left a woman with critical injuries and a house on the verge of collapse.

According to police, a stolen Lexus was allegedly being driven along Hellawell Road around 11.30pm, when it lost control through the intersection with Gowan Road and collided with a house.

“First responders located the woman unconscious outside of the vehicle,” Queensland Police said.

The woman, who is believed to be in her twenties, has been rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she remains fighting for life.

Police are now hunting four males who allegedly fled the scene in another car that was travelling with the Lexus and also believed to be stolen.

Fortunately, no one was inside the house at the time of the crash.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the crash, knowledge about the occupants of the car or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
