A woman has died after her vehicle smashed head-on into a truck in Logan.
The two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions on Middle Road before they collided around 2pm today.
The driver of the car, a 34-year-old Flagstone woman, couldn’t be saved and died at the scene.
The truck driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The roadway is expected to remain closed into the night and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Investigators urge any witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
