A woman has been seriously injured after being attacked by four dingoes on K’gari (Fraser Island).
The woman, aged in her 20s, is believed to have been running on the beach around 9am on Monday when she was set upon.
It’s understood the young woman was forced to dive into the water to try and escape the pack of dingoes.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said she suffered multiple serious bite wounds to her limbs and torso.
She was airlifted to Hervey Bay Hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.
