Two people have been hospitalised in two terrifying shooting attacks in Logan.

Police are investigating whether the two incidents, which occurred at different addresses, could be linked.

Around 3.30pm on Saturday, police believe a dark-coloured car entered Bix Court in Crestmead, before a man emerged from the car and began arguing with another man in the front yard.

The man fired a shot at the resident, which missed and struck a 58-year-old woman who was standing nearby.

She’s suffered facial injuries and remains in the hospital this morning with non-life-threatening injuries.

A few hours later around 9pm, a light-coloured car entered Cowper Avenue at Eagleby – where a drive-by shooting took place.

As the car passed an address, a shot was fired from within the car hitting a man who was in the front yard of a house.

This man was also treated for facial injuries and has been transported to hospital in a non-life-threatening condition.

Detectives are investigating if the two shootings are linked, with investigations continuing.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a dark-coloured Mazda CX9, or white/silver Mitsubishi Lancer in either of these suburbs, or who may have relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
