Three teenagers have been charged after rocks were allegedly thrown at a truck on the Logan Motorway this morning.
The truck lost control and smashed into a guardrail in Kingston around 5am, after rocks struck the windscreen.
A 15-year-old girl, 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man were immediately taken into custody at the scene.
The incident closed westbound lanes for two hours, while the crash was cleared.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 28-year-old Slacks Creek man, was not physically injured.
The 18-year-old Logan Central man has been charged with three counts each of endangering the safety of a person in a vehicle with intent and wilful damage.
He is expected to appear before Beenleigh Magistrates Court on February 13.
The 15-year-old Kingston boy has been charged with three counts each of endangering the safety of a person in a vehicle with intent and wilful damage.
He will appear before the Beenleigh Children’s Court.
The 15-year-old Churchill girl will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
