Three people have been rushed to hospital, one in a serious condition, following a violent robbery in Brisbane which also saw a pet dog stabbed.
According to police, four men arrived at a home on Ballandean Court in Forest Lake around 5pm on Sunday when a disturbance broke out.
“Investigators will allege the men demanded the occupants of the home hand over an e-scooter, and when they refused an altercation occurred where the victims armed themselves with shovels and the men produced knives,” Qld Police said.
Three people from the home were stabbed and taken to hospital, one with serious injuries.
A dog at the home was allegedly also stabbed and rushed to an emergency vet.
The condition of the animal is not known at this stage.
PolAir was called in to help track three of the offenders, who were taken into custody at nearby Pringle and Oldbury Place.
The trio are continuing to assist police with their inquiries.
