An 18-year-old has been charged with attempted murder following a shocking crash at Rochedale last year.
Police allege the young man “intentionally crashed a vehicle he was driving” injuring himself and his passenger, an 18-year-old woman.
It happened on Pebble Street just after 10pm on December 8, with both the man and woman suffering serious injuries.
“The 18-year-old woman remained in hospital for treatment for several months,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
Following extensive investigations, the man was yesterday charged with one count of attempted murder.
He appeared before Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where he was remanded in custody with the matter expected to be heard again today.
