A major search and rescue operation is underway, with serious concerns held for a 7-year-old boy missing from Logan who may be at “significant risk”.

Police are seeking urgent public assistance from the public to help find the boy, who went missing from a Kingston address around 5pm Saturday.

The boy was last seen at an address on Queens Road and has not been seen since.

Police are concerned for his welfare due to the boy’s young age and he has a medical condition where he is non-verbal.

Officers and SES, along with the assistance of Polair, have been searching the area to try to locate the boy with a major search and rescue operation continuing today.

Residents in the area are urged to check their properties, including any structures or sheds, in case he is hiding or seeking shelter.
