A teenage boy is fighting for life after being hit by a car in a horror hit-and-run in the Moreton Bay Region.
The 18-year-old was walking across South Pine Road in Eatons Hill just before midnight when he was struck and left for dead.
The boy suffered a suspected head injury and was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are on the hunt for the driver, with initial investigations indicating the car was a black Kia Rio without a left-side mirror.
Any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision from the Eatons Hill area is also urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
