A man and woman have been found dead with gunshot wounds at a home north of Brisbane.
Police made the grim find after being called to a property along Jambaroo Street at Albany Creek around 5.30pm on Sunday.
The man in his 40s and woman in her 70s are believed to be known to each other.
“A crime scene remains at the property and investigations into the circumstances of their deaths are ongoing,” Queensland Police said.
“Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the vicinity of Jambaroo Street before 5.30pm to come forward”.
Police have confirmed there is no threat to the community.
