A man has been charged with manslaughter following the sudden death of a young boy who was bitten by a snake.
The 11-year-old died at a property in the Queensland town of Murgon on November 21 last year, with police launching an extensive investigation into the youngster’s death.
Following the investigations, police this week charged a 31-year-old man with manslaughter.
“Police will allege the man failed to seek medical attention after the boy reported being bitten by a snake,” Queensland Police said.
The man and boy were known to each other.
The man is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Decembre 6.
