A 23-year-old man has been charged following alleged dangerous driving offences throughout Logan.
It’s alleged the Yarrabilba man was caught hooning in an unregistered Ford Falcon close to bystanders at around 10pm last night.
He’s then accused of fleeing from police and continuing to drive dangerously through Logan Reserve, Crestmead and Beenleigh.
Officers were forced to deploy tyre spikes to stop the vehicle, with the man eventually taken into custody.
The vehicle has now been impounded.
The man has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving, drive unregistered vehicle, drive uninsured vehicle and evade police.
He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 3.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the vehicle driving dangerously or anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
