A 39-year-old Logan woman has died after being hit by a ute near Hervey Bay.
Emergency services rushed to the intersection of Toogoom Cane Road and Pialba Burrum Road at Toogoom around 6.30pm on Tuesday following reports of a serious crash.
Upon arrival, they found the woman had been struck by a GWM Cannon ute.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics for critical injuries, however, could not be saved and died at the scene.
The driver of the ute, a 31-year-old man, stopped to render assistance following the crash.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
