Retired Aussie tennis star Ash Barty and husband Garry Kissick have welcomed their first child to the world, a baby boy.
The former world number one shared the special news with fans on social media on Tuesday night.
The couple posted a photo of their new bundle of joy to Instagram alongside the caption “Our beautiful boy. Welcome to the world, Hayden!”.
It comes six months after the 26-year-old announced she was expecting.
“2023 set to be the best year yet. We are so excited for our new adventure,” Barty captioned her pregnancy announcement post in January.
The new parents have already been flooded with messages of love since sharing the news, with the Australian Open account describing it as “the greatest triumph”.
Wimbledon also chimed in, writing “Future Wimbledon champ?”.
