It’s been an absolute tragic night on Queensland roads with two separate crashes killing a teenage boy and leaving many other teens badly injured.

A 17-year-old boy lost his life a in a single-vehicle crash between Mount Isa and Cloncurry just before 11.30pm last night.

He was driving a vehicle with four teenage passengers, heading toward Cloncurry on the Barkly Highway.

The vehicle lost control of the vehicle and careened off the roadway.

The 17-year-old driver was tragically declared dead at the scene.

A 17-year-old female passenger was transported to the Mount Isa Hospital in a critical condition.

Another 17-year-old female passenger and an 18-year-old man were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Meantime, there’s been a horrific crash in Logan that’s left an 18-year-old male fighting for life.

The car was travelling towards Beenleigh on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road about 1.40am when it left the road and crashed into bushland.

The 18-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit investigation both incidents.
