NSW has recorded a significant drop in new COVID-19 cases today.
In the past 24 hours, there’s been 10,698 infections detected, down from 12,632 yesterday.
Of those, 6,122 are from Rapid Antigen Tests, while 4,576 are from PCR test results.
Sadly, the state has also recorded a further 31 deaths.
There are now 2,494 people being treated for the virus in hospitals across the state, including 160 in Intensive Care.
95.5 per cent of people aged over 16 have now had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 94 per cent are fully vaccinated.
In terms of third jabs, 42.8 per cent of all adults in NSW have now received their booster.
