Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed multiple times during a horror road rage attack in Sydney’s south west.

Emergency services rushed to Homebush around 8.00pm last night, following reports a motorist had been stabbed on Parramatta Road.

Upon arrival, they found the driver of a white Mazda 3 suffering stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition where he underwent surgery.

“Officers from Auburn Police Area Command have been informed that the man was involved in a dispute with another motorist at the location,” NSW Police said.

“During the altercation the other man allegedly stabbed him before fleeing the scene in an unknown vehicle”.

As investigations continue, police are urging anyone who may have information, or any available dashcam/mobile phone footage, to come forward.
