A teenage boy has died after plunging several metres from a cliff on Sydney’s eastern beaches.

Emergency services were called to the cliffs at Dunningham Reserve at Coogee Beach around 4.10pm on Tuesday following reports a boy had fallen.

Upon arrival, officers were told the teen had fallen approximately 15 metres.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however, sadly he could not be revived and died at the scene.

It’s believed the boy was 17 years old.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
