Five teenagers have been arrested and charged after two boys were stabbed at a school in Sydney’s south-west.
Emergency Services rushed to the school along Chapel Road in Bankstown around 3.15pm yesterday afternoon.
Two 15-year-old boys suffered stab wounds in the alleged violent brawl, while a third boy copped facial injuries.
One of the stab victims was treated at the scene for lacerations to his back, and was taken to Westmead Hospital in stable condition.
The second boy suffered a stab wound to his thigh.
A number of people fled the scene before police arrived at the school to establish a crime scene.
Following an investigation, police arrested two males, aged 15 and 16, at a home in Greenacre about 5.30pm last night.
A further two males, both aged 16, were arrested at homes in Yagoona about 7.20pm.
A fifth male, aged 15, was arrested at Bankstown about 8.30pm.
The teenage boys were taken into custody and have all been charged with reckless wounding in company and affray.
They were refused bail and will appear in a Children’s Court today.
