The winners of last night’s whopping $100 million Powerball draw have been revealed.

Not one, but two people held division one winning tickets, meaning the jackpot will be split right down the middle at a cool $50 million each.

A couple from Rockhampton have been identified as one of the lucky winners, however a search continues for a mystery Victorian player who is yet to discover the life changing news.

The winner, from the Melbourne suburb of Darebin, held an unregistered ticket, which means officials need to wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she hoped Victoria’s newest multi-millionaire realised their good fortune soon.

“What a way to end 2024 and welcome 2025!” she said.

“We can’t wait to unite this mystery winner with their $50 million prize and have that incredibly special conversation about what their future might hold.

“After a week full of excitement and possibility many Australians have dreamed of winning a slice of the $100 million jackpot and having an unforgettable Christmas season.

“We’re encouraging all City of Darebin residents and visitors to check their entries, because you may just discover you’ve won an exhilarating prize set to change the course of your future”.

The Queensland couple were informed of their eye-watering win immediately after the draw last night, admitting they thought the call was another solar panel sales pitch!

“You’re joking?!” the winning grandmother laughed.

“I’m in disbelief. I can’t believe it. This doesn’t happen to us.

“I expected you to ask if we have solar panels, not to tell us we’ve just won $50 million!

“We’re multi-millionaires. I can’t believe I’m saying that. It’s going to take a while to wrap my head around it.

“I’ve been playing for a long time now – since the game first started. I had always used the same numbers, but this ticket was just a QuickPick.

“I’m in a total state of shock”.

With $50 million about to brighten their bank account just in time for the festive season, the couple said they looked forward to sharing the multimillion-dollar prize with family.

“It helps the family that’s for sure. ‘Family first’ is what we always say,” she added.

“We’ll have lots more time together now too. I don’t think they’re going to believe us when we tell them.
