Coles has issued a recall for two popular tomato products sold at its supermarkets around the country.
The recall is for Coles Tomato Paste 170g and Coles Tomato Paste 500g.
Coles says it is due to the presence of soy which isn’t declared as an allergen on the product labels.
The affected products have a Best Before date code sold in the past 12 months which have been available in Coles stores from July 2021.
Those with a soy allergy or intolerance to soy are warned they may have a reaction if they consume the product.
Customers can return the products to any Coles supermarket for a full refund.
Those who bought either of the products online can contact Coles Online Customer Care for a refund.
