Popular packets of chips have been recalled across the country over fears of plastic contamination.
Sprinters Crinkle Cut Multi Pack Chips have been pulled from ALDI supermarket shelves nationwide.
“The recall is due to the potential presence of foreign matter (plastic pieces),” the recall notice said.
“Food products containing plastic pieces may cause injury if consumed”.
The affected products have a best-before date of January 1, 2023.
Those who have the chips in their cupboards are being told not to eat them, and to return them to any ALDI store for a full refund.
