Oz Lotto has soared to its biggest ever jackpot of $100 million after no one held the lucky numbers in last night’s $70 million draw.
It means that if one person were to take home the entire $100 million prize in next Tuesday’s draw, they’ll immediately become the biggest individual Oz Lotto winner ever!
They’ll also share the title of Australia’s third-biggest lottery winner in history.
The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said the eye-watering jackpot would see Aussies from all corners of the country rush to secure their entry for the chance to transform 2025 and beyond.
“Oz Lotto has only ever offered a $100 million prize once before. On that occasion in 2012, the jackpot was shared by four division one winning entries across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland,” she said.
“We can’t wait to see if we make history next Tuesday night and welcome our first Oz Lotto multi-millionaire of 2025.
“In addition to it being the biggest prize offered by any Australian lottery game at the moment, this $100 million Oz Lotto prize is also the biggest jackpot offered by any Australian lottery game so far this year.
“That’s why we expect up to one-in-three Australian adults to have a ticket into this $100 million Oz Lotto draw before the clock strikes 7.30pm AEST on Tuesday night.
“To put that into context, the peak of sales for one of our recent big Oz Lotto draws, the $90 million Oz Lotto draw in December 2023, was at 6.30pm when 6,010 tickets were sold in a single minute.
“Just imagine the possibilities with $100 million in your back pocket! Whether it’s the trip of a lifetime, the home of your dreams or setting your family up for generations to come, someone’s dreams could become a reality next Tuesday night.”
While there were no division one winning entries in last night’s draw, there were 1,171,843 prizes in divisions two to seven worth more than $26.53 million, including 21 division two prizes each worth $46,305.20.
The winning numbers were 44, 33, 24, 3, 34, 36, and 42 while the supplementary numbers were 5, 1, and 10.
