New South Wales has posted another daily record death toll with 52 COVID-related fatalities in the last 24 hours.
The state also recorded a further 13,524 new cases of COVID-19.
Of the new cases, 6032 were positive rapid tests.
There are currently 2663 patients being treated in New South Wales hospitals, down from 2693 on Saturday with 182 people in ICU.
Meantime, Victoria has recorded 10,589 new cases of COVID-19 along with 20 deaths.
Hospital admissions continue to fall in the state with 889 COVID patients, down from 953.
There are 111 people in ICU with 35 on ventilators.
Victoria currently has 78,294 active cases across the state.
