One lucky Aussie is waking up this morning unaware they’ve suddenly become Australia’s second-biggest lottery winner of 2023.

The player, who purchased the ticket online, held the only division one winning entry in last night’s Powerball draw taking home the entire $30 million jackpot.

However, officials from The Lott have been unable to contact them to break the life-changing news as they don’t have their complete contact details.

It’s understood the winner is from New South Wales, so officials are urging anyone there who purchased a ticket into last night’s jackpot to check them asap!

“Imagine going to bed tonight not knowing you’ve just won $30 million? That’s the reality for one New South Wales player after scoring division one in tonight’s Powerball draw!” The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said.

“While the New South Wales entry was purchased online, unfortunately, we don’t have their complete contact details, so we are unable to make a mind-blowing phone call to them this evening.

“That is why we are encouraging everyone in New South Wales who purchased an entry in tonight’s Powerball draw to check their entries because they may be the multi-millionaire we are searching for!”

In addition to the division one winning entry, there were a total of 1,111,891 prizes worth more than $20.33 million won in divisions two to nine.

Among those winners were two division two winners who each took home a cool $281,829.15.

The winning numbers were 27, 33, 19, 29, 5, 12 and 15, while the all-important Powerball number was 4.
