In terrible news for lolly lovers, it’s been revealed the popular Starburst brand will no longer be sold in Australia.
The company that manufactures Starburst, Mars Wrigley, has confirmed the iconic brand has been discounted indefinitely.
The axing includes the most-popular Fruit Chews item as well as Snakes, Babies, and more.
The sweet treats are no longer being imported into the country, with supply chain issues and rising cost pressures to blame.
The brand was discontinued in Australia officially in June 2022.
The revelation comes as people across the country struggled to find the products on supermarket shelves.
The Mars Wrigley company is responsible for manufacturing an array of other iconic treats including M&Ms, Snickers, Maltesers and Skittles.
