The great debate that divides the nation is back, with hot cross buns hitting supermarket shelves today…. one day on from Christmas Day!
Despite Christmas barely being over, and the Christmas spirit still in full swing, the delicious Easter treat will be launched across supermarkets today.
Both Coles and Woolworths will roll out the staple early, reportedly in a bid to keep up with increased demand.
The full range of hot cross bun products, including the original favourite and the sweet and savoury twists, will be available.
However, Aldi has confirmed they won’t start stocking them until January 20.
It raises the question again though… is Boxing Day too early to buy hot cross buns?
