Westpac has been hit by another major online banking outage just two weeks after it suffered a nationwide crash.

Thousands of customers have taken to social media to vent their frustration at not being able to access their services.

The bank has confirmed they are working to fix the outage, which hit just after 10am AEST, as soon as possible.

“We’re aware that customers are experiencing intermittent issues accessing online, mobile and telephone banking,” Westpac said in a statement.

“Our teams are working to fix the issue.

“We’re sorry for the inconvenience and will continue to share updates here”.

It comes just a fortnight after thousands of Westpac customers were locked out of their accounts for around eight hours after a “routine technology update” caused a mass outage of the bank’s online systems.
