Adam Sandler as an astronaut getting emotional assistance from a spider-like alien was most certainly not on my 2024 bingo card for movies I may be interested in watching, yet here we are.
In the new trailer for his upcoming flick Spaceman, Sandler plays Jakub, an astronaut on a six month solo mission to the edge of the solar system.
According to the blurb from Netflix Jakub “realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth.”
Enter Hanuś (voiced by Paul Dano), a creature he finds hiding in his ship that helps him to potentially save his marriage.
The less said the better, just watch the trailer below (and it still won’t make sense!)
