Twisters, the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Twister has been released.
Daisy Edgar-Jones plays Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a traumatic encounter with a tornado during her college years. Now based in New York, she studies storm patterns from the safety of screens.
However, she’s drawn back to the open plains by her friend Javi (Anthony Ramos), who convinces her to test a revolutionary new tracking system. Once there, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Glenn Powell), a charismatic and daring social media star who thrives on sharing his risky storm-chasing escapades with his wild crew.
As the storm season escalates, unprecedented and terrifying phenomena unfold, placing Kate, Tyler, and their rival teams directly in the crosshairs of multiple converging storm systems over central Oklahoma. It becomes a battle for survival unlike any they’ve faced before.
