Paramount Pictures unveils the official trailer for “A Quiet Place: Day One,” the highly-anticipated spin-off of John Krasinski’s acclaimed horror series.
Conceived from an original idea by Krasinski, and penned by Michael Sarnoski and Jeff Nichols, the film diverges from the Abbott family narrative, delving into the broader universe established in the previous two instalments.
We finally get to see how it all started and how the world went quiet! Set on the first day of the arrival of the sound-sensitive aliens, the film offers a glimpse into the genesis of silence engulfing humanity.
Lupita Nyong’o (“Us”), Joseph Quinn (“Stranger Things”), and Alex Wolff (“Hereditary”) headline the ensemble cast under the direction of “Pig” filmmaker Michael Sarnoski. Djimon Hounsou, reprising his role from the second instalment, joins the cast.
Scheduled for release on June 28th, the movie is produced by John Krasinski, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller. Meanwhile, fans can anticipate the continuation of the Abbott family saga in a third film slated for 2025.
