Young boy robbed of his scooter at knifepoint in Logan

A 12-year-old boy has been left shaken after being robbed at knifepoint in the middle of a Logan street.

The youngster was riding his e-scooter along Second Avenue in Marsden around 5pm on Wednesday when a man armed with a knife got out of a car and approached him.

The man threatened the boy with the weapon and stole several of his personal items, including the scooter, before getting back in the car and driving off.

Thankfully the boy was not physically injured.

Police are now appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Second Avenue that has dashcam or CCTV to come forward.
