Emergency crews are currently on the scene of a serious crash on a major Gold Coast road.
A car has crashed into the back of a stationary truck along McLaren Road at Nerang.
It happened just before 7.00am on Thursday, trapping a 60-year-old woman inside the vehicle.
Emergency crews are currently working to free the motorist, who is believed to be in a stable condition.
Police are warning drivers to expect delays in the area, with the accident blocking one lane.
