Woman seriously injured in Gold Coast motorbike crash

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a horror motorbike crash in Carrara.

Emergency crews were called to Nerang Broadbeach Road around 10.15pm on Monday, following reports of a serious motorbike crash.

Upon arrival, they found a woman in her 20s with potentially life-threatening pelvic and limb injuries.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
