Police are calling on the public after a woman was violently attacked in a shocking road rage incident at Broadbeach Waters.
Around 8.30am on Thursday, two vehicles, a maroon Honda Civic sedan and a silver BMW sedan, were travelling southbound on Bundall Road when a minor collision occurred between them.
Both vehicles pulled over at the intersection with Framar Street and the occupants of both cars got out.
“The driver of the Honda, a 39-year-old woman, was allegedly punched, kicked and spat on by the three female occupants from the BMW,” Qld police said.
The woman then returned to her car, locking herself inside, in a desperate bid to avoid the attackers.
Officers investigating the assault are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam vision of the vehicles, to come forward.
