A major manhunt is underway after a woman was injured and two luxury cars stolen in a terrifying home invasion on the Gold Coast overnight.
Three people forced their way into a Kootingal Street property in Ashmore around 11.40pm on Monday where they stole a blue Porsche Macan and black Range Rover Sport.
According to police, one of the residents, a woman in her 50s, tried to stop the thieves from getting away but was dragged a short distance by one of the vehicles as it fled the scene.
She suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Police tracked the blue Porsche as it travelled northbound on the M1 near Pimpama where it allegedly evaded officers at high speed.
The vehicles, along with the three offenders involved, remain at large this morning.
Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam, CCTV or other vision around the Ashmore area at the time of the incident, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
