Woman hospitalised after being struck by car on the Gold Coast

A woman in her 60s has been injured after she was hit by a car in Surfers Paradise last night.

Paramedics, including critical care and the High Acuity Response Unit, rushed to the scene along Stanhill Drive after she was struck just before 8pm.

She sustained lower leg injuries and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Thankfully, she escaped any critical injuries and is in a stable condition.
