A woman has been struck by a bus on a dangerous and busy corner in the heart of Broadbeach.
It happened on the corner of Old Burleigh Road and Charles Avenue at around 7.30pm Saturday night.
The footpath where the incident happened is currently closed due to a construction site, but risky pedestrians are constantly spotted flirting with danger by walking along the roadway in the bike lane.

The woman in her 50s miraculously managed to escape major injury.
She did however suffer arm and leg injuries and back pain, and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
It’s understood the bus driver stopped to render assistance to the woman.
