A woman is fighting for life in hospital after a near-drowning incident on the Gold Coast last night.
Paramedics, including the high acuity response unit and critical care, were called to an address off Marine Parade in Labrador around 6.00pm.
They assessed an adult female briefly at the scene before taking her to hospital for further treatment.
Queensland Ambulance Service reports she was involved in a post-immersion incident in a pool.
She was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Her age has not yet been confirmed.
No other injuries were reported.
