A woman is fighting for life after suffering a significant head injury while cycling in Tugun.
The woman in her 60s fell from her bike on the corner of Boyd Street and Morshead Street just before 2pm this afternoon.
It’s understood she struck her head on the roadway during the fall.
She was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Critical Care Paramedics and the Hugh Acuity Response Unit were on board for her transport.
