A woman has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a horror crash on the northern Gold Coast.
Four others, including a 14-year-old girl, have also been hospitalised following the collision in Pimpama around 9.45pm last night.
According to police, a Holden Commodore was travelling west along Yawalpah Road and was attempting to turn right onto Swan Road when it collided with a Holden Captiva.
The driver of the Captiva, a 65-year-old Pimpama woman, was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with critical injuries, while her 69-year-old male passenger suffered minor chest injuries.
The 29-year-old Pimpama woman driving the Holden Commodore and her passengers, a 63-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl, were taken stable for checking and observation.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
