Police are on the hunt for three men following a vicious attack at a Gold Coast tram station that left a young man with a broken jaw.
An altercation broke out between two groups of people on Sunday August 28 at the Broadbeach South tram station that ended with two men suffering significant injuries.
Footage of the wanted men has been released, in the hope that someone in the community recognises the trio.
A 20-year-old Elanora man was punched and kicked to the ground before being knocked unconscious.
He suffered a broken jaw on both sides which required surgery
A 21-year-old Currumbin Waters man was also injured in the attack, suffering facial injuries after he was repeatedly punched.
After the attack, the attackers fled the scene and remain on the run.
Police are urging the three men depicted in the footage to come forward.
Detectives are also asking anyone who recognises the men, or has any information regarding the assaults, to come forward.
