A manhunt is underway after a Gold Coast pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint.
The man, with his face covered by a surgical mask, walked into the pharmacy on Olsen Avenue at Parkwood around 7.10pm on Thursday night and demanded medication.
He showed staff what appeared to be a handgun tucked in the waistband of his trousers.
The man stole a quantity of medication before escaping on foot.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The man was wearing a dark hooded jumper and light-coloured track pants.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnesses or people who may have dascham or CCTV footage from nearby businesses including from nearby Tonga Place after 7pm.
