Police are appealing for help to identify three men as investigations into the theft of $463,000 worth of catalytic converters across the Gold Coast and Logan continue.

The brazen trio is accused of breaking into a secure caryard on Newheath Drive in Arundel by cutting the fence around 1am on Wednesday, February 8.

They allegedly stole nine diesel particulate diffusers worth approximately $156,000.

Just five days later, a group of three men attended a service station on Johnston Street in Southport, where a catalytic converter and registration plates were stolen from a ute.

Detectives have now released vision of a man they believe could assist with investigations into the above incidents, along with CCTV of the Southport servo theft.
