A colourful celebration of cultures is making a return to Sea World this weekend – Sea World Carnivale!
The event will see the park transformed into a spectacle of colour, sights, sounds and tastes on selected nights throughout January and February.
For 2022, Sea World Carnivale will feature four exhilarating and immersive worlds – Mexico, Rio, Africa and New Orleans.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks COO, Bikash Randhawa said Sea World Carnivale is an incredible Gold Coast event not to be missed.
“2022 starts with a big bang here at Sea World,” he said. “We are having the biggest lightshow – the Aqua Lightshow, we have food from all different parts of the world, street entertainers and more.”

Village Roadshow Theme Parks Creative Director Chris Grew said Gold Coasters are in for an awesome night out at Sea World Carnivale.
“The whole event is based around having the best time of your life and having an amazing, fun party,” he told myGC.
“Every year we go bigger and better and more fun, and that’s exactly what we are doing this year for Carnivale. More lights, more fountains, more lasers, more fireworks and way more entertainers.”
