Police have released CCTV of a frightening armed robbery at a bottle shop in Robina on New Year’s Day, in the hopes someone may recognise the man responsible.
The man stormed the business on Robina Parkway on January 1 at around 3.30pm.
He threatened employees with a knife and demanded cash.
His face was covered and he was wearing a black jumper, and black pants with a white strip.
The male employee complied with demands and no one was physically injured.
The crim got away on foot with a wad of cash and some alcohol.
Investigations are continuing.
Anyone who recognises the man, or has information that could assist with investigations, is urged to contact police.
