It’s been a busy night for emergency crews across the Gold Coast with authorities called to multiple crashes.

The first crash occurred in Southport around 9.30pm, when a vehicle slammed into a pole on the Smith Street Motorway.

The driver managed to escape uninjured, however, was taken away for drug and alcohol testing.

Just 15 minutes later, a vintage car collided with a motorbike along Geissmann Drive in Tamborine Mountain.

The road was closed for more than an hour whilst crews worked to clear the scene.

The 1950s Chevrolet sustained significant damage in the crash, while the rider of the motorbike, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with significant arm injuries.

Around midnight, two cars collided head-on in Nerang, with one of the drivers given a notice to appear in court after allegedly blowing over the limit.
